I work on an advanced analytics team for Unilever within the category management function at our Rogers, AR sales office. My specialty within the team is data analysis and visualization. I work in a collaborative effort across multiple functions, including: sales, supply chain, and category management.

I am a co-lead on our diversity & inclusion business resource group within our AR office. The goal is to not only engage and educate within the office, but participating and engaging with the local community. Alongside that, I am leading the effort to make our office more sustainable.
Previously, I managed a retail store: Name Brand Clothing. We sold discounted and/or returned goods from department stores. Not only did we have to merchandise clothing, but housewares, shoes, and electronics. I was responsible for hiring, training, and managing 10-12 full and part-time employees.
In the summer of 2014 I was part of a team that founded and started a local chocolate company: Markham & Fitz. I initially helped out by developing the branding and packaging. Eventually I moved into both a financial and operational role. I mainted and evaluated the financials of the company, as well as, established operational procedures and protocols.

The tool of choice for the Data Architect on my team at Unilever is C#. I took it upon myself to gain some proficiency in C# so that in his absenses, I can create basic processes and run his processes.
Python is one of the programming languages used by data scientists. Working in data analytics, the future is going to require a working knowledge of ML and AI. Data Science is a driving force behind that.
